Shay Segev, Chief Executive Officer of DAZN, said: “The College Swimming League is an exciting new competition that brings together some of the most successful programmes and talented athletes in collegiate sport. We are delighted to partner with the CSL and make every race available live and free to view for fans across more than 200 markets worldwide. At DAZN, we are committed to growing audiences for emerging and established sports alike, and this agreement reflects our ambition to connect passionate communities with premium live content on a global scale.”
Rob Kent, Chief Executive Officer, College Swimming League, said: “Partnering with DAZN is a major commercial milestone that delivers unprecedented global reach for our premium sponsors and media partners. Launching September 24, this deal monetizes and scales college swimming across 200+ countries. By packaging powerhouse programs from the ACC, SEC, and Big Ten, including Virginia, Cal, Michigan, Auburn, Stanford, Indiana, Tennessee, NC State, Louisville, Ohio State, Georgia, and Alabama, into our fast-paced match format, we are transforming the sport into a broadly, internationally televised property. This is an incredibly exciting moment for swim fans around the world who can now follow every single race of the action live.”
Kyle Sockwell, Chief Operating Officer, College Swimming League, said: “Until now, international swimming fans have had no reliable way to watch NCAA competition, and that underserved audience is exactly who this agreement is built for. NCAA rosters feature many of the world’s best international swimmers, and that talent base gives the CSL a built-in global audience from day one. Pairing an innovative, fan-focused property like the CSL with a platform of DAZN’s global scale turns that demand into measurable growth for the sport. From our first conversations, DAZN put real thought into how to grow swimming’s international audience, and that mattered to us as much as their reach.”
